Lindsey & Nathan | St. Louis Wedding Photography

Excuses, excuses. Slap my wrists with a ruler right now. We had the opportunity to shoot some beautiful weddings this past year, with our very own wedding (October 29th) falling smack in the middle of the prime wedding season … Fall! Then of course the holidays (a much needed long break!) … and so here I am finally doing our last wedding of the year blog post … in January!

So once we returned from our honeymoon, the following weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Lindsey and Nathan’s special day. And it was special. Remember Fall?! Yeah, it was that perfect time of year for a wedding. I absolutely loved every wedding we shot this year, but this one was extra special. I was still on the emotional high from our day! Needless to say, I was teary-eyed and really understood and appreciated all the emotions โ€“ giddiness! nervousness! excitement! that Lindsey must have been feeling. Sniff. Sniff.

We arrived at the Chase Park Plaza on this very windy and cold day to capture the “getting ready and details shots.” I love doing this at nice hotels! Wink. Wink. The Chase really provides some beautiful and dramatic opportunities for stunning images. The dynamic pair shared their first look on the roof top … awww. And since Forest Park was close, we took advantage of the Fall leaves and colors and did some fun bride & groom and bridal party shots. Such a pretty crew!

I heart, heart, heart small and intimate ceremonies. Lindsey and Nathan shared their candlelit nuptials in front of a cozy, romantic fireplace with their closest friends & family (and a bazillion ofย their cutest nieces and nephews). The St. Louis Artists’ Guild was a perfect spot for this celebration! While we captured family photos afterwards, the guests were able to mingle around enjoying the art, the company and of course โ€“ the signature cocktail. Ice Pick. Not sure what was in this little concoction (since we don’t drink on the job) ๐Ÿ˜‰ but we hear they were pretty tasty. The guests then moved into another cozy little room, with yes, another fireplace, to enjoy a meal specially prepared from St. Louis Catering.

Lindsey & Nathan โ€“ thank you, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your ever-so-special day! We loved working with you both and wish you much love throughout your marriage. We hope you love and cherish these wedding day images! These are just a few of my many favorites.

I’m so looking forward to going into the 2011 Wedding Season with a new and fresh perspective โ€“ a bride’s perspective!:)
